Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Akron-Westfield Westerners. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Westerners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on Tuesday.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Akron-Westfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.

Trinity Christian will square off against Hinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Akron-Westfield, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Westwood on the 20th.
