Volleyball Recap: Ashland Comes Up Short

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hickory Flat Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hickory Flat, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ashland is set to face off against their familiar foe Potts Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hickory Flat will challenge rival West Union at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
