Basketball Game Preview: Legacy Academy Warriors vs. CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks

Having just played yesterday, the Legacy Academy Warriors will get right back to it and host the CHAAMP HomeSchool Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Legacy Academy has three straight wins, CHAAMP HomeSchool has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

While Legacy Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their game on Monday with ease, bagging a 66-32 victory over Garrett Memorial Christian. The matchup marked the Warriors' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, CHAAMP HomeSchool came up short against Tyler HEAT on Friday and fell 48-38.

Legacy Academy will have to keep a close watch on Caleb Carlisle and Dylan Hampton, a pair of players who had a big impact on CHAAMP HomeSchool's prior game. Carlisle posted 11 points, while Hampton had eight points and six rebounds. Carlisle is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 47% in the last three games he's played.

Legacy Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for CHAAMP HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
