Volleyball Recap: Broadwater Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus the Carmel School

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Broadwater Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against The Carmel School Wildcats by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 24-26, 25-18.

Leading Broadwater Academy to victory were Caroline Caison and Emmalene Trower. Caison had six digs and four aces, while Trower had eight digs. That's the most digs Trower has posted since back in October.

They weren't the only good servers: Broadwater Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in seven consecutive matchups.

Broadwater Academy now has a winning record of 12-11. As for The Carmel School, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.

Broadwater Academy has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Brunswick Academy on the 6th. The Carmel School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
