Volleyball Recap: Willamette Comes Up Short

Willamette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Grants Pass Cavemen. The Wolverines were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cavemen from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Willamette's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Grants Pass, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Willamette will challenge rival Roseburg at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Grants Pass is set to face off against their familiar foe South Eugene at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
