Basketball Recap: South Iredell Takes a Loss + How To Watch

South Iredell extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-4. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bandys Trojans. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 68-44 to the Trojans when the teams met back in November of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Bandys, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 70.5 points this season.

Evan Robinson went supernova, dropping a double-double with 23 points and ten boards. Brady Swett was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven rebounds.

South Iredell will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ballantyne Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for Bandys, they will face off against West Caldwell at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
