Football Recap: Walnut Ridge Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Win + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Walnut Ridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Worthington Kilbourne Wolves 58-42 on Friday. The Scots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Worthington Kilbourne's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Page, who rushed for 154 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards and one touchdown. Another signal caller making a difference was Jackson Szabo, who threw for 307 yards and three TDs.

The win was the eighth in a row for Walnut Ridge, bringing their record up to 8-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average over those games. As for Worthington Kilbourne, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.
