You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Pikesville's strategy against Eastern Tech on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Pikesville Panthers blew the Eastern Tech Mavericks out of the water with a 55-22 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.

Mariah Jones-Bey was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine steals. Jones-Bey is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Maya Chase was another key player, putting up nine points along with seven boards and four steals.

The win (which was Pikesville's seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points per game. As for Eastern Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Pikesville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-8 victory against Patapsco on the 24th. As for Eastern Tech, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 46-35 defeat against Dulaney on the 24th.
