Soccer Game Preview: St. Martin vs. East Central

The St. Martin Yellow Jackets will take on the East Central Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Martin's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, St. Martin and Picayune finished up their match with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, East Central kept a clean sheet against Pascagoula on Friday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0.

Logan Fletcher was the driving force of East Central's attack as he scored both of East Central's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

East Central now has a winning record of 2-1. St. Martin's draw gives them a new season record of 0-1-2.

Everything went St. Martin's way against East Central in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, as St. Martin made off with a 6-0 victory. Will the Yellow Jackets repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
