Football Game Preview: Pensacola Tigers vs. Gulf Breeze Dolphins + How To Watch

The Pensacola Tigers will square off against the Gulf Breeze Dolphins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Pensacola and 12 for Gulf Breeze dating back to last season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pensacola faced off against West Florida on Friday. The Tigers fell 30-22 to the Jaguars.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Courtney George, who rushed for 159 yards and one TD while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Jamarcuz Fountain, who rushed for 45 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Gulf Breeze was beaten by Mosley 54-14 on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Gulf Breeze has lost by exactly 40 points.

Pensacola's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Gulf Breeze, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything went Pensacola's way against Gulf Breeze when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as Pensacola made off with a 50-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
