Landynn Thomason Game Report: vs Dewey

Passers beware: Landynn Thomason came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He made eight total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions as Checotah took down Dewey 14-6. The season is still young and we're looking forward to more games like this from Thomason.

Thomason and Checotah will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Locust Grove at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The Wildcats are a perfect 5-0 against the Pirates going back to November of 2020, a lead they'll look to extend.
