It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Arkadelphia ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Camden Fairview Cardinals 4-3. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Badgers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Megan Grace Farrar spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Rachael Womack, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Aultman, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI.

Arkadelphia's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Camden Fairview, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Coming up, Arkadelphia will head out to take on Magnolia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Camden Fairview, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Camden Fairview Cardinals duke it out with Hamburg Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. They are facing Hamburg at the right time seeing as Hamburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
