Football Recap: Standley Lake Wins Going Away Against Kennedy + How To Watch

Standley Lake put their dominant defense on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Kennedy Commanders with a sharp 21-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Gators, who have now won four matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Teagan Leighton had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 64 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 150 yards and one TD. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Standley Lake is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.

Standley Lake's record is now 4-5. As for Kennedy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-5.
