Baseball Recap: Harding Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Harding can now relate to. They came up short against the Central Christian Comets on Wednesday, falling 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Skippers have suffered since April 14, 2025.

Harding saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Slavkovsky, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12-1. As for Central Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-10.

Harding does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Christian, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 victory against McDonald on the 29th.
