Volleyball Recap: Harper Creek Comes Up Short

Harper Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lowell Red Arrows. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Beavers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15.

Ella Brannen paced Harper Creek's offense, picking up five kills. Brannen got some help from Andersyn King and her 13 assists. Taegen Anderson and Krista Brannen kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Harper Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 29-21-1. As for Lowell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-8-3 record this season.

Harper Creek didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Caledonia on the 30th. As for Lowell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mattawan on the 30th.
