Lowndes and Tift County are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Vikings will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. Lowndes will be strutting in after a victory while Tift County will be coming in after a loss.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Tift County's offense. They fell just short of Colquitt County by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Tift County in their meetings with Colquitt County: they've now lost seven in a row.

Tift County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lowndes, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.
