With a playoff win on the line, Providence Catholic rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Evergreen Park Mustangs. The victory continues a trend for the Celtics in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won five in a row.

Abbey Knight paced Providence Catholic's offense, picking up ten kills. Knight got some help from Demi Carbone and her 11 assists. Cali Tierney controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Providence Catholic's win bumped their record up to 32-6. As for Evergreen Park, their loss dropped their record down to 24-13.

Looking ahead, Providence Catholic will face off against Lemont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Evergreen Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
