With a playoff win on the line, Belton rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Poteet Pirates get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for Belton, who have now won 11 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Belton is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 66 goals over those 14 matchups. Poteet's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5-3.

Coming up, Belton will venture away from home to square off against Wakeland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Wakeland will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Belton surely won't give up without a fight. Poteet does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
