Sacramento Waldorf faced Encina in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Waves came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. The result kept Sacramento Waldorf happy, as they haven't lost a game since September 5th.

Adam Aldwinckle was the driving force of Sacramento Waldorf's attack as he scored both of Sacramento Waldorf's goals, bringing his season total up to 19 goals.

Sacramento Waldorf is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-1-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those six contests. As for Encina, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-3-1.
