Volleyball Game Preview: Sacred Heart Prep Gators vs. Campolindo Cougars + Official Tickets

The Sacred Heart Prep Gators will head out to take on the Campolindo Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sacred Heart Prep heads in on the heels of a playoff match last Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valley Christian. The Gators' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 20-25, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Sacred Heart Prep got top-tier performance from Peyton Fu-Sarosa, who had 19 digs and three assists. Fu-Sarosa has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last six times she's played. Anabelle Yujuico also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Meanwhile, Campolindo came up short against Redwood on Saturday and fell 3-1. The Cougars have struggled against the Giants recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Redwood scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Campolindo's loss dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Sacred Heart Prep, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 22-7.
