Baseball Recap: Bryan Station Takes a Loss

Bryan Station managed to slip by Madison Southern the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Defenders lost 10-1 to the Eagles on Saturday. The Defenders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Bryan Station got a good showing from Tucker Oakley, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave Oakley a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, Aiden Pemberton was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Bryan Station's record now sits at 6-11. As for Madison Southern, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.

Looking ahead, Bryan Station will head out to take on Madison Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Madison Southern, they will welcome Somerset at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
