Greene County took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Citronelle Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for Greene County, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cam Pipkins looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Brody Jones was incredible, going a perfect3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Looking ahead, Greene County is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge Washington County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Citronelle, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats challenge the Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
