Basketball Recap: Union Grove Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Union Grove fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Woodland on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolfpack. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Union Grove's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3. As for Woodland, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Union Grove will square off against rival Locust Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodland is set to challenge their familiar foe McDonough at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
