Volleyball Game Preview: Rutland Hurricanes vs. Howard Huskies + How To Watch

The Rutland Hurricanes will head out on the road to take on the Howard Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rutland will be strutting in after a win while Howard will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Rutland turned things around against Northeast on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Raiders.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Rutland was: they took both sets by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Howard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Upson-Lee.

Howard's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Rutland, their win bumped their record up to 7-20.

Rutland came up short against Howard when the teams last played back in August, falling 2-0. Can the Hurricanes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
