Baseball Recap: Earlham Takes a Loss

Earlham's last matchup with Interstate 35 could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Cardinals lost 9-0 to the Roadrunners. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Earlham's record now sits at 4-10. As for Interstate 35, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Earlham will square off against rival Des Moines Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Interstate 35 is set to challenge their familiar foe Pleasantville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Roadrunners 3.3, the Trojans 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
