Baseball Recap: Drexel Comes Up Short

If Drexel was riding high fresh off their 11-5 takedown of Lakeland last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats came up short against the Liberal Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 20-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Drexel dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Liberal, their record now sits at 5-10.

Drexel has already played their next matchup (against Northeast Vernon County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Liberal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
