Preview: Overbrook Panthers vs. Devon Prep Tide
The Overbrook Panthers just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Devon Prep Tide at 7:30 p.m. on December 13th. Overbrook is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Overbrook has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season. They blew past Audenried, posting a 66-39 win at home.
It was another big night for Omar Davis, who scored 25 points along with six steals. Davis is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tahmiere Manning, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Devon Prep pushed their score all the way to 59 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of West Philadelphia by a score of 62-59.
Overbrook now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Devon Prep, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
