Volleyball Recap: Capitan Takes a Loss

Capitan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Fort Sumner/House. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Fort Sumner/House this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Capitan ultimately came up short, they really made Fort Sumner/House work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24, 25-20.

Capitan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Fort Sumner/House, they pushed their record up to 11-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Capitan will host Mescalero Apache at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Sumner/House, they will venture away from home to square off against Grady at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
