Basketball Recap: Simsboro Comes Up Short

Simsboro lost against Captain Shreve back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers received a blow as they fell 81-67 to the Gators. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (59), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Simsboro and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Captain Shreve, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Captain Shreve has already played their next matchup (against Red River), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Simsboro will be paying especially close attention to the Gators' contest: after the Gators face off against Idabel, they'll take on Simsboro again at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
