Basketball Game Preview: Legacy Academy Warriors vs. Trinity Christian Warriors

Legacy Academy will face off against Trinity Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Legacy Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Trinity Christian likes a good challenge.

While Legacy Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 66-32 win over Garrett Memorial Christian. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian came up short against Columbia Christian on Friday and fell 53-41. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Legacy Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Legacy Academy lost to Trinity Christian at home by a decisive 80-66 margin when the teams last played back in January. Can Legacy Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
