Volleyball Game Preview: Arroyo Grande Eagles vs. Central Valley Christian Cavaliers

The Arroyo Grande Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Arroyo Grande sitting on seven straight wins and Central Valley Christian on 21.

Arroyo Grande is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Garces Memorial as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Central Valley Christian beat Frontier 3-1 on Tuesday.

Central Valley Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, 25-11.

Central Valley Christian's victory bumped their record up to 35-6. As for Arroyo Grande, their win bumped their record up to 34-11.

Arroyo Grande couldn't quite get it done against Central Valley Christian in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
