Volleyball Recap: Gordo Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gordo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Lamar County Bulldogs, falling 3-0. If the Green Wave were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gordo now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lamar County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Gordo will head out to face off against Pickens County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lamar County, they will take on Sulligent at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season.
