Basketball Recap: Tysean Davis Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Lycee Francais De Chicago

There's no place like home for Lake View, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They took down Lycee Francais de Chicago 79-65 on Tuesday.

Lake View's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tysean Davis led the charge by dropping a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Betancourt, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Lycee Francais de Chicago's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bonheur Balita, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 13 boards. Balita is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last five games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jordie Machara, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten assists.

The win got Lake View back to even at 1-1. As for Lycee Francais de Chicago, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lake View will venture away from home to face off against Grayslake North at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lycee Francais de Chicago, they will head out to challenge Amundsen at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
