Basketball Recap: Prattville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Prattville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 66-56 to the Auburn Tigers. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 74-47 to the Tigers when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the defeat, Prattville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jersey Farbes went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points. Another player making a difference was Anthony Cowling, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.

Antwane Daniels was a one-man wrecking crew For Auburn. as he shot 50% from the field on his way to 22 points in addition to six boards and five blocks. That's the most blocks Daniels has posted since back in December of 2024. Kentrell Evans was another key player, putting up eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Prattville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Prattville has already played their next contest, a 68-63 victory against Wetumpka on the 18th. As for Auburn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-58 defeat against Park Crossing on the 13th.
