Meanwhile, MMI Preparatory School came into Thursday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Hanover Area by a score of 47-38 on Thursday. The win was just what MMI Preparatory School needed coming off of a 52-23 defeat in their prior game.
It was another big night for Bria Kringe, who almost dropped a double-double on 37 points and nine rebounds. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of MMI Preparatory School's points. Another player making a difference was Cassidy Mcdermott, who scored four points along with 14 rebounds and two blocks.
Columbia Montour Vo-Tech dropped their record down to 0-16 with that loss, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.0 points per game. As for MMI Preparatory School, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-14.
