Basketball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University lost against Pontiac back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The University Eagles lost to the Pontiac Phoenix on the road by a 67-49 margin. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Pontiac, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-49 win against Berkley on the 18th. As for Pontiac, they will venture away from home to face off against Bloomfield Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield Hills will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pontiac surely won't give up without a fight.
