Softball Recap: Harrisonville Wildcats vs. Clinton Cardinals
Harrisonville lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Clinton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Wildcats blew past the Cardinals 11-1 on Tuesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by ten runs or more this season.
Jayci Winters made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.
