Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Beats St. Henry for Their Third Straight Win

Notre Dame Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They put the hurt on the St. Henry Crusaders with a sharp 3-0 win. The Pandas not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since September 29th (when they won 3-0).

Notre Dame Academy was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-16.

Grace Portwood paced Notre Dame Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Portwood got some help from Lizzy Larkins and her 24 assists.

Notre Dame Academy's victory bumped their record up to 23-6. As for St. Henry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Notre Dame Academy will head out to take on Assumption at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Henry, they will venture away from home to challenge Mercy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
