Basketball Recap: Ware Shoals Beats South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind for Their Second Straight Victory

Ware Shoals won the last time they faced South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind, and Jace Stewart did his part to make sure it happened again. The Ware Shoals Hornets breezed by the South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets to the tune of 62-17 on Thursday thanks in part to Stewart, who posted 23 points along with four steals and four blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Ware Shoals' points.

Jayce Medlin was another key player, putting up ten points and seven steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 3 steals per game.

The win made it two in a row for Ware Shoals and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Ware Shoals wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 82-66 defeat against GREEN Upstate on the 10th. As for South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-19 loss against Thornwell on the 12th.
