Basketball Recap: Hillsdale Takes a Loss

Hillsdale lost against Woodside back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS lost to the Woodside Wildcats on the road by a 58-43 margin.

Hillsdale has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season. As for Woodside, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12.

Hillsdale and Woodside could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Hillsdale (ranked 652nd) will meet Menlo-Atherton (ranked 105th) at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Woodside will square off against Carlmont at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th down 419 places (602 vs. 183).
