Preview: HALO Wolfpack vs. Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights
HALO has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Georgia Force Christian Blue Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in HALO's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
HALO pushed their score all the way to 70 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 71-70 to New Creation Christian Academy.
Jordan Moody put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Trenton Grissom was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Georgia-Cumberland Academy scored an imposing 62 points on Wednesday, Georgia Force Christian still came out on top. Georgia Force Christian managed a 67-62 win over Georgia-Cumberland Academy. The victory was just business as usual for Georgia Force Christian, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
Their wins bumped HALO to 3-7 and New Creation Christian Academy to 4-1.
HALO came up short against Georgia Force Christian in their previous meeting back in February, falling 68-61. Can HALO avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
