Volleyball Recap: Holliston Comes Up Short

Holliston lost against Hopkinton back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Hillers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holliston started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-17.

Sydney Stephen went supernova For Hopkinton., getting 30 digs and four aces. Those 30 digs gave Stephen a new career-high. Kaelyn Geremia was another key player, getting 14 digs.

Holliston now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hopkinton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Holliston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Norwood on the 8th. As for Hopkinton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Algonquin Regional on the 8th.
