Volleyball Recap: Harper Creek Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for Harper Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pennfield Panthers on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Beavers as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Harper Creek was led to victory by Avery Carpenter and Andersyn King. Carpenter had seven digs and four aces, while King had eight digs and two aces. King is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Harper Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are 9-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Harper Creek's win bumped their record up to 30-23-1. As for Pennfield, their loss dropped their record down to 28-17-7.

Harper Creek has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Vicksburg on the 5th. Pennfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
