Volleyball Game Preview: Polson Pirates vs. Whitefish Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Polson Pirates will head out to square off against the Whitefish Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Polson is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.

Polson is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Montana's top teams: Columbia Falls, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Polson was ranked 12th). The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted against the Wildcats since September 19, 2023.

Meanwhile, Whitefish earned a 3-1 win over Ronan on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Ronan scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Polson's record is now 11-2. As for Whitefish, their record now sits at 10-8-2.

Everything went Polson's way against Whitefish in their previous matchup back in September, as Polson made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
