Volleyball Game Preview: Walsingham Academy Trojans vs. Hampton Christian Academy Warriors

The Walsingham Academy Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Hampton Christian Academy Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Walsingham Academy and 11 for Hampton Christian Academy.

Walsingham Academy lost 3-0 to Steward on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-15, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Hampton Christian Academy came up short against Greenbrier Christian Academy on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Hampton Christian Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Greenbrier Christian Academy's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-13, 25-18.

Walsingham Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hampton Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-21.

Walsingham Academy took their win against Hampton Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
