Football Recap: Marina Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Marina was riding high fresh off their 42-22 takedown of Harbor last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mariners were just a hair shy of victory on Thursday and fell 29-28 to the Gonzales Spartans. The Mariners have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Marina's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Gonzales, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marina is set to face off against their familiar foe Seaside at 5:30 p.m. on November 1. Meanwhile, Gonzales will take on rival Harbor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
