Baseball Recap: West Hall Takes a Loss

West Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Apalachee Wildcats.

Connor Toledo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Drew Svetz was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Toledo wasn't the only one working in the hit department: West Hall kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Apalachee only managed six hits.

West Hall's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Apalachee, they pushed their record up to 3-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

West Hall has already played their next matchup, a 15-5 defeat against Flowery Branch on the 5th. As for Apalachee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-3 victory against Alcovy on the 7th.
