Pinellas Park extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 24 on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-6. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hollins Royals. On the bright side, the 53- point performance marked the Patriots' highest-scoring contest to date.

Hollins' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. They haven't had any issues with Pinellas Park recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Summer Morgan continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 56% from the field on her way to 41 points along with eight boards and eight steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 26 times she's played. Jaeci Burney also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
