Basketball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower was the 72-68 winner over Bloomington when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. 2025 welcomed the Eisenhower Eagles with a 68-48 loss courtesy of the Bloomington Bruins on Monday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Bloomington, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-7.

Eisenhower and Bloomington could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Eisenhower (ranked 1070th) will meet Summit (ranked 441st) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bloomington will face off against Fontana at 5:30 p.m. on Friday down 463 places (794 vs. 331).
