Baseball Recap: Chariho Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Chariho proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 12) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Central Knights 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Chargers have posted since June 1, 2025.

The victory (which was Chariho's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chariho will square off against rival Burrillville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central is set to face off against their familiar foe West Warwick at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
